 THERE IS A KINGDOM FOR YOU

'... I bestow upon you a kingdom just as my Father bestowed one upon Me'. Lk. 22:29

It is a pity that ignorance of the scriptures has made many of us, believers to be unnecessarily envious and jealous of others who are in the same line of business or field with us simply because we see them somehow doing well supposedly than we are. This often times gets bad to the extent that we nurse bitterness against such people silently which is very dangerous and poisonous to our spirits.

I have got to discover that one of the major problems we have is "comparison". If it is not carefully and objectively handled will definitely make you see your colleagues in the same business, office, neighbourhood, department even ministry as a threat. The scripture says that those who compare themselves among themselves are not wise (2Cor. 10:12). So you need not to compare yourself with any one, you are unique and special. Just make sure you are doing what you ought to do per time.

Jesus said "I bestow upon you a kingdom ...". To bestow means to give something to somebody and a kingdom is an area controlled by a person (king). So you are a king and king controls and manages all the resources within his domain or territory and use them to his own advantage.

Finally, here is the revelation: irrespective of the business or profession you find yourself that the Lord has called you into, mind not the number of people already in it, how much sales you think others are making, how much success you think others have made. As long as you are led of God into doing what you are doing, you have your own kingdom; territory wherein are your own customers, followers, sales, contracts, connections and all other things needed to excel in that business, profession, ministry, etc to fulfill God's purpose for your life. There is a kingdom for you! Shalom!
